Secret Of Work

work is not useless,
work is not mundane,
it is not listless,
it's not burden and pain.

it is by our choice,
what we make of it,
when we don't put our heart
and our soul into it.

And the root of it lies in,
when confronted with the voices,
we listen to the outer one,
suppressing the one coming from within.

when we start listening to people,
telling us what we should do,
rather than choosing what our
heart is willing us to do.

otherwise the purpose of work,
is to bring our mind to ease,
it is a path to unite with God,
and rest in an eternal peace.

And our lord has shown the way,
in the holy book when he says,
work just for the work's sake,
caring not about fruits you make.

Offer everything as a selfless service,
and than one day you shall see,
your work brings to you eternal joy,
and with each offering you becoming free.

And so we should choose the work,
which we will do even if there is no pay,
which rather than crushing us,
makes us look forward to each day.

now you may say what if i am not getting,
the work i want to do each and every day,
and the answer to it lies in lives of,
people like Jobs who eventually found their way.

And the day to start finding out your heart,
is not some distant tomorrow,it is today,
make all effort to get what you want,
and may the lord bless you on your way.
