You throw a stone at him,
and he greets back with you a garland,

you hurl abuses at him,
and he busts into Gayatri mantra chants,

you kick him you slap him,
is your hand hurting he will ask you back,

you stare at him with angry eyes,
with a smile he will defend and attack,

he the enlightened one walks,
on this earth not for his needs,

but to cure one and all,
who so ever at the hand of evil bleeds.

No Space

He died yesterday night in his sleep,
for whole morning the family grieved,
and in evening with their hearts still heavy,
they decided to find a place for deceased.

So two men went to caretaker of cemetery,
and to him humbly presented their case,
to which he replied, come next month as some
graves are expiring, for now there is no space.

A cup of tea

It was a clear and sunny morning,
my fellow passenger beside me was still snoring,

The bus after ten hour journey has come to halt,
asked the driver, just a stop sir, no fault,

i peeped out of window to check the scene,
a small motel, a hut and fields lush green,

and saw a lady too with a cup of tea,
which she threw away in disgust whatever reason be,

the cup tumbled and spilled into a puddle,
got mixed into the muddy water and created few bubbles,

and even before the bubbles had settled down,
came an earthen and pale dog around,

the poor soul licked it till it tasted sweet,
and probably still hungry the poor retreat,

the bus from that place has since moved on,
but the scene in my memory keeps flashing on and on.

Science is

Science is

Observing,
Asking,
Questioning,
Learning,
Understanding,

And then,
Proposing,
Hypothesizing,
Experimenting,
Validating,
Testing,
Iterating,

And finally
Producing,
Generating,
Stating.

Dreams these days

Dreams these days are
at best pieces of ice cube,
a little heat of reality
and they are gone like steam.

To re gain what is lost

Ground lost once may not be gained back in a cinch,
but will be one day certainly if fought for inch by inch.

Don't be afraid

Don't be afraid,
nine out of ten times,
nothing will happen,
and once when it will,
you will be able to handle.
