main ohnu kiha chall kudiye mushaira dekhan challiye,
ohnu laggiya main kiha chall dushiara dekhan challiye,
ohde dil khid utthe chaa si,mere dil vi khid utthe chaa si,
oh tur payi si te phir main vi tur piya si.

turde turde oh kehndi pandaal kithe laggia hoia e,
main kiha ronak mela daana mandi sajjiyaa hoie e,

ohde dushiare de chakkran ch mera mushira vi luttia giaa.

gharon niklle si taan dovaan de dilaan vich chaa si,
mude si taan dohaan di dil armaanan di swaah si,
te saare raah oh kehndi rahi tu dushiara kiha si,
te main hatth jod kihnda riha main mushira hi kiha si. 

बिना मंजिल के कुछ हासिल नहीं होता

वो कश्तियाँ समन्दर र्में गुम हो जाती हैं,
जिनका कहीं कोई साहिल नहीं होता,
घर से सोच कर निकलो के क्या चाहिए,
बिना मंजिल के कुछ हासिल नहीं होता!

Do gajj uthe nahin zameen se,

Realization

How shall peace be upon me,
when i don't live as asked by thee,

how shall in my heart, a picture of yours i see,
when i cannot keep, my heart of passions dirt free,

how shall your guiding light, my eyes see,
when i have turned, a blind eye to thee,

how shall my judgements, be error free,
when i don't listen to my conscience, by which you speak to me,

how can i say that i love thee,
when i cannot do, the bare minimum you ask of me,

how i can i be ever happy,
when i have lost all touch to thee,

but i know you always and shall always love me,
all need is to turn back and come back to thee.
