A reading of the low self esteemed eyes

People want to talk occasionally to me,
I think that is good enough for me,
I think love and feelings are too precious things,
i do not expect anyone to share it with me.

 In need someone comes and ask me for help,
someone thinks me to be trustworthy to be present at their yelp,
I think that much is good enough,
I don't expect someone to be friends with me.

A small job I want to be sure that I can do well,
and my boss saying this one you can do I can tell,
i think that should be good enough,
I don't expect a team to be lead by me.

And of all my art works if someone comes and see,
gets even impressed by the hours of effort and quantity,
I think that should be good enough,
I don't expect them to live till eternity.

Tales of despair

I was not always this ugly,
I believed in helping the needy,
once a long time back,
I gave my old shoes and jeans
to a boy in rags who was freezing,
two days after, again I met him
he was again in rags and bare foot
asked him where are the jeans
and the shoes, he did not answer me,
now I pass by everyone like i did not see..

I was not always so unfriendly,
met everyone cheerfully and gladly,
once a long time back I told
my pains and secrets to a so called friend,
next day the whole street was mocking me,
dug and found out that it was he,
and i stopped sharing my pains,
though open to cheer and glee...

And who believed in the system
and rules more than me,
but once I was standing in the
queue to apply for a college seat,
the admission officer said let him come ahead,
you go home General Category,
I appealed, I cried, stop this change it,
but they did not pay any heed to me...

And long long back I loved life,
I liked everyday of existence and living,
but than I went through the things,
which totally shocked and shook me,
I saw the invisible cracks in every relationship,
i got convinced that even my existence is burdening,
and from that day to till date I am half dying half living,
and never again i could any beauty in life see..

Science my religion, reason my God

Science my religion,
reason my God,
to uncover and unearth
the mysteries of the universe,
i search and explore...

i set aside few principles
i build upon them,
i see the reality
i explain it through them,
if they are not working
i change or discard them,
nothing is cast in stone,
Science my religion...

We revere and stand in
awe of those, who
have gone before us,
we welcome the opinions
and thoughts contradictory
without any fuss,
to us progress is more important
than maintaining the
status quo, on and on,

i may not yet have
all the answers,
i may not have
solved all the problems,
but for whatever i have
you can see and reason,
i do not deceive the people
that only a chosen one
can hear the universe's song,

for there is nothing
in universe which is perfect
and does not have limitations
i humbly accept mine,
i work hard to solve
what i could solve in my lifetime,
and to the next generations
than i pass on the baton,
