A Relationship

A Relationship is not a bank account,
where how much i have given,
where how much the other has paid back,
we take care of and we count,

rather it is a confluence of two rivers,
rivers of service,sacrifice and like that,
which be it day or be it night,
keeps on secretly flowing in our heart,

rivers whose confluence is maintained by,
the positive virtues of love,compassion,
faith,trust,selflessness and things like that,

rivers which start to diverge from each other,
when even in one of them enters the negative virtues
of hate,jealousy,doubt and things like that,

so the whole essence of maintaining them,
is to act such that the force of positives is so much,
that the negatives are not able to rip them apart,

because a bit of negatives will always be there
some from the troubles and tests of the time,
some from the ploy of the senses in the mind,

and it takes time and effort to develop positives,
while it is so easy to get inflicted with negatives,
so always be careful, watchful and aware of that.
