Bauhat kuch jee mein aata hai,aur dil kehna bhi chaahta hai,
par aata hai jo tera naam, zubaan ko see ke chala jaata hai.

Kitaabein jo main aksar hi padhta rehta hoon,
us tajurbe ke hwaale se tumhein ye kheta hoon,
Jaroori nahin saari kitaab hi khraab ho,
Kya pata ho age khushi ikk panna aur palat lo.

Wo jo dhoondta phire koi aur wo aisa hai hi nahin,
wo mar to jaayega par kise aur ka hoke jeeyega nahin.

Kisi ki yaad mein jhumte chale jaate hain,
kisi ke pyaar mein roj nagme gaate hain,
wo humdum mera, wo humsafar mera,
zindgi hum to usi ke khayaal mein bitaate hain.

Maine duaa maangi thi jo wo kabool ho gayi,
meri chaahat aaj uske dar pe maqbool ho gayi,
har lamha lamha ab to ikk nayi zindgi hai,
hyaat kya baatein ikk khilta hua phool ho gayi.

Main usko jeet laaya hoon kismat ko hraa ke,
saare zmaane ko apna dushman bnaa ke,
accha hua jo rabb nahin aaya hmaare beech,
warna wo bhi jaata apni khudaai gwaa ke.

Wo jis se chaah thi inti ki pal bhi na hatti thi nazar,
waqt ne yoon kar diye faansle us ke haal se bhi bekhabar.

Who wants to play a level down,
or keep on being the same,
everybody wants to raise their game,
but they wanted to do it their way,
so I left and made my own way.

I told them it is not working out,
money is not what it's all about,
to me work means a lot of things,
right now it's not at all fulfilling,
waiting long, patience gave away,
so I left and made my own way.

It felt like saturation and stagnation,
like a same old song on radio station,
I wanted to thrust into something new,
something bigger i wanted to pursue,
but i was a mere actor in a larger play,
so I left and made my own way.

i have heard the prophets and preachers,
the coaches and the motivational speakers,
if you want to be the best and seek joy,
put your head too where your heart is o boy,
and i chose to listen to my calling that day,
so I left and made my own way.
